My story. How it all started.

Hi, I’m a Narendra Prasath working with many things. Take a look at my profile and works. Don’t worry, they won’t bite.

Hi, I'm from Madurai. I am currently doing my Bachelor degree on Information Technology. I am kind of person who strongly believe that knowledge must be given to everyone and the ultimate work after learning something is to spread the knowledge gained to others.

I am an online journaler too. As a quick learner from my childhood,I gained knowledge by searching for new things to learn and practise. I enjoy meeting new people and making new friends. In the mean time i love to work in a Web environment often prefix the titles with Web. Being an open source admirer, I always encourage people to work and use open source softwares.

A bit about my skills

I love semicolons, colons and resizing browser windows. I started learning new things. Searched many tutorials and started implementing it. With the Knowledge of searching i had a great opportunity of attending tech events in and around Madurai, which introduced me to many of new concepts and programming languages. All these currently in my college days.

Work experience.

2014 - Present

Google students club has been inaugurated in IT department of our college. The club focuses on spreading of computer knowledge through interactive learning methods. The club has introduced four domains to improve the skills of the students .These domains helps the students to understand the computer world better. The major domains focused are Android application, Linux administration, Webpage development and Internet Of Things.

    Took this course, out of the wish to learn more about computer code architecture, which has been a fascination for me from my childhood. During my course I signed up for Fedora Student Ambassador Program. It was awesome to meet many new people who are doing great things in web world.

Objectives.

As an open learner I encourage to use open source, don't think I am opposite to the close source platform, using the open source platform might teaches you many thing.

As a student too, I want to share a lot of stuff with every other interested students. So, our team members and I started a club in our college. In this club which we started hands on classes which will help students to understand concepts in a better way.

  • As a GDG member

    Metoomentor is a nonprofit mentoring platform to provide opportunity to everyone mostly focusing on tier II and tier III cities in India. The platform launched in March 2014 in Madurai, with the objective of giving technological opportunity to students.

    I co-founded GSC, an interactive learning methods of spreading computer knowledge.

Hobbies.

Drawing

I really love drawings, whenever I draw it makes me happy. When I get any paper in free hours, I would rapidly execute freehand drawing that is not intended as a finished work.

I love to develop an idea for later use as a quick way of graphically demonstrating an image or idea. It might help to record. Other than drawing, I am interested to collect others drawing and I modify it to make as another version.

Meditation

You people already know meditation keeps to induces a mode of consciousness (aware of and responding to one's surroundings). Although I involve repeating mantras and wth my eyes closed.

Whenever I meditate it rejuvenates me interest to do it again. In my school days, I meditate almost every morning for alteast 15 minutes (except sunday).
